Rapha Therapy Service was established in 2010 by Martina Witter following observing a need for more accessible psychological therapy and training to be made available to children and Adults respectively. We acknowledge that children’s emotional needs can be overlooked and therefore limit their educational attainments. 10% of children and young people (aged 5 to 16 years) have a clinically diagnosable mental health problem yet 70% of children have not received appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age. We provide emotional health promotion, mental health awareness and early intervention to ensure children can excel educationally and thrive in their futures.
As one in four Adults will experience a mental health problem in their lives , 6 Million Britons have been experiencing stress for over one year and 50% of employees are affected by poor mental health and only half of them had spoken to their employer (MIND 2018). Our comprehensive and evidence-based training and treatment plans provide Individuals with strategies for self-management and tools to overcome their difficulties and to remain in work whilst living a fulfilled life.
Martina and her team are Cognitive Behaviour Therapists and Corporate Resilience and wellbeing trainers with over 15 years’ experience of working with Individuals experiencing psychological difficulties both within the NHS and privately. They have a wealth of experience in delivering training and therapy in a dynamic, creative and an accessible manner including face to face, online, telephone and group Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
They have a passion to see Individuals thrive holistically in life through being revived, restored and refocused in life. Martina draws upon her life experiences including bereavements, rejection and stress to connect with her clients in treatment and whilst delivering training in an experiential way.
